Oh sheesh, I just wrote about Genaro’s Mexican Cuisine opening next week, and now another little Latin baby is on the way. Fork It Over Restaurants, the same brain group behind Whiskey Cake and Velvet Taco, is now opening Mexican Sugar inside Plano’s hottest hotspot, The Shops at Legacy.

The Dallas Business Journal‘s Danielle Abril reports that the restaurant will have a 9,000-square-foot space and “feature food inspired by Mexican, Peruvian and other Latin influences and will showcase 135 tequilas and 35 mescals.”

Did I mention the cocktails? Wow… I literally just spaced out in the middle of writing this post. I’ve been mind-drooling over these Facebook photos of Mexican Sugar’s cocktails. Whoo-ee, get a load of these sexy things.

All of these delectable drinks will be available starting in early November. It feels so far away, doesn’t it? We’ll just have to wait until then. No biggie.
