Despite what other news outlets have reported—or what the city renames the parade—the Dallas St. Patrick’s Parade on Greenville Avenue will continue to be a party this year. I mean, Snoop Dogg, er, Snoop Lion, or whatever, is headlining the concert. So pull those glittery clover headbands out of storage; you’ll still be needing them. Enjoy this list of our favorite bars hosting Irish festivities and if it isn’t enough, visit our calendar to see all the St. Patrick’s Day events you can handle.

Where: Mockingbird Taproom
Neighborhood: Upper Greenville
When: Saturday, March 16
What’s Happening: A full breakfast buffet and drink packages (including bottomless draft beer and Bloody Marys) to kick off the parade. Buy tickets in advance or at the door.

Where: Sherlock’s
When: Sunday, March 17
Neighborhood: Addison, North Dallas
What’s Happening: Throw on green and head over for live music and beer. You’ll also hear some bagpipes and be able to enter to win giveaways.

Where: Sundown at Granada
When: Saturday, March 16
Neighborhood: Lower Greenville
What’s Happening: Be in the thick of pre- and post-parade action with bagpipes, reggae on the roof, green beer, and a DJ in the parking lot.

Where: Black Friar Pub

Where: Crown & Harp
When: Friday, March 15
Neighborhood: Lowest Greenville
What’s Happening: Hit up South by Saint Patrick’s Day, a free mini music festival, featuring bands playing SXSW and local groups, green beer, local brews on tap, and Irish stew. Full lineup here.

Where: Trinity Hall Irish Pub
When: Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17
Neighborhood: Upper Greenville
What’s Happening: This Mockingbird Station spot, in the heart of the parade chaos, is opening at 8 am with live music all day and Irish beer and food. Both days are packed with performances by Jigsaw, Seamus Stout, and Behan.

Where: The Dubliner
When: Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17
Neighborhood: Lower Greenville
What’s Happening: Stop by this Greenville Avenue spot before the block party—they’re opening up at 8 am—or afterward, where U2 cover band With or Without U2 is performing. If you miss the show, catch them again on Sunday afternoon, followed by The Mumbles.

Where: Capitol Pub
When: Saturday, March 16
Neighborhood: Henderson
What’s Happening: This bar is serving Irish breakfast—we’re guessing that means brunch and beer—until 3 p.m., and you can catch live music from bands like Seamus Stout and Boys Named Sue.
