What To Drink Now: Valentine’s Cocktails for You and Your Sweetie

Still looking for the perfect drink on Valentine’s? If you’re trying to create an air of romance, or just whip up something fun and creative on Valentine’s night, consider one of these tasty cocktails that will put you in the mood for love.

Wild Strawberry Seduction
2 oz. SKYY Infusions Wild Strawberry
1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1 oz. Apple Juice
½ oz. Honey Solution
2 Medium Basil Leaves
2 Medium Strawberries
Directions:Muddle basil, strawberries and lemon juice. Add remaining ingredients. Shake and double strain into coupe glass.

Pomosa
4 oz Sparkling Wine
1 oz Van Gogh Pomegranate Vodka
Directions: Pour chilled Van Gogh Pomegranate Vodka into a flute.  Top with sparkling wine and garnish with a strawberry.

Cupid’s Cuvée
1 ounce Shellback Spiced Rum
3/4 ounce Sloe Gin
1/2 ounce Falernum
2 ounces Brut Champagne
Lemon Twist Garnish
Directions:  Combine liquids except champagne in cocktail shaker with ice. Stir or shake according to preference. Strain into chilled flute. Top with Brut Champagne. Garnish with lemon twist.

The Birds and the BeesThe Birds and the Bees
1 oz. Solerno Blood orange Liqueur
.5 oz. Stoli Sticki
2 oz. plain almond milk
.5 oz. honey syrup (1:1)
.5 oz. fresh lemon juice
.50 oz. fresh, organic egg whites
1 barspoon rose water
Glass: coupe or martini
Garnish: edible rose petal
Directions: Dry shake ingredients to emulsify egg whites.  Hard shake with ice and fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.  Garnish with a rose petal.

Love Bird
2 oz of Pink Pigeon Rum
2 dashes of black walnut bitters
.5 oz of Luxardo Morlacco Cherry liqueur
.5 oz Luxardo Fernet
1 Luxardo Maraschino Cherry to Garnish
Directions: In a mixing glass, add first three ingredients over ice.  Stir to chill.  In a separate coupe glass, add .5 oz of Luxardo Fernet and swirl glass until it is fully coated with the Fernet.  Strain chilled cocktail from mixing glass into the Fernet-rinsed coupe (discard excess Fernet).   Drop Luxardo Maraschino cherry into glass and serve neat.

Dessert Fizz

1 1/2 oz. Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate Vodka
1 large strawberry, chopped
handful of mint leaves
1 tsp. agave nectar
1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
3 oz. sparkling wine or Champagne
Directions: Muddle the strawberry with the agave and lemon.  Add Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate and strain into chilled Champagne flute.  Top with the
sparkling wine or Champagne. Garnish with a strawberry slice on rim.
