Every year on SideDish, we like to devote our energy to supporting small local food businesses that make DFW a better place to live. For the next consecutive twelve days, we’ll be highlighting jams, jellies, pies, classes, wines, coffees, teas, and basically any food product made locally on Dallas (or close to it) soil. The Tamale Company
The Tamale Company boasts that they have the perfect gifts to either A) make you a great boss or B) help increase the sales of your business by 300%. Bold words. And a bold gift package, too. Urban Taco
So Urban Taco is starting its 12 Days of Tamales event on December 13. “New, seasonal, hand-made tamales will be available December 13-24 with a different tamale offered each day. Each tamale trio plate will come with black beans and roasted corn con crema sides for $9.75.
In addition to enjoying tamales at the restaurant, guests can also place a catering order for any variety of tamale on the menu. These special treats are perfect for holiday get-togethers. A minimum purchase of one dozen tamales is required with 24-hour notice. One dozen tamales are $24. Orders can be placed in person at the Uptown location or by calling 214-922-7080.”
