National _____ Days get kind of annoying unless it’s National Labor Day – a holiday I thoroughly enjoy with every fiber of my couch. (I hope you guys don’t take that the wrong way.) Anyways, it’s Cheeseburger Day today. You better go to your favorite burger joint and snarf one down like there’s no calorie count. Or, if you’re a cheapo, here are some specials deals you can find around town:

  1. The Palm steakhouse is celebrating Cheeseburger Day from Sept 17 to 21. For $8.37, you can get the lunch special and order one of five different burgers and get a side of fries. From 5 to 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. ’til closing, burger sliders are only $1.
  2. The Quaker Steak and Lube in Carrollton is offering 99 cent cheeseburgers that come with Lube chips or fries. The offer only runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, so you better head there pronto.

Don’t forget to tell us where you’re celebrating National Cheeseburger Day in the comments below. Your backyard? McDonald’s? Maybe at your desk, sadly staring at this Off-Site Kitchen cheeseburger?
