Tsunami-Relief Sake Dinner Next Tuesday at Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck

High up in Reunion Tower, Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck will host a four-course, sake-pairing dinner next Tuesday, May 17th, with a portion of the proceeds going to the American Red Cross on behalf of its efforts towards Japan Tsunami relief. jump for deets.

Executive Chef Patton Robertson and Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki “Fuji” Fujino created a four-course menu that begins at 6:30 pm. and will feature favorites such as Fuji’s “Surf and Turf” Roll, plus new menu additions including crispy black bass with sea spears, white & green asparagus, and Meyer lemon beurre blanc; duck galantine with morel and beach mushrooms, Tokyo negi, and lemongrass-duck jus; and more. Chef Isla Vargas’ dessert selection will incorporate sake as a main component in lemon cake with grapefruit-vanilla filling with a kamoizumi kome kome citrus broth.

The event will run you $155 per person, not including tax and gratuity. A portion of the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross on behalf of its efforts towards Japan Tsunami relief. Space is limited, and reservations are required.
