Veritas Says Thanks to Loyal Guests For the Holidays

By Hayley Hamilton Cogill |

I have been out of town for the holiday and am just returning to lots of emails, but came across this one and needed to get it out there for Veritas fans looking to relax on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.   Starting today through Sunday, December 26th Veritas will give a 20% discount on all bottles consumed on premise between 2pm and 6pm.  The deal is just on Saturdays and Sundays, but well worth it if you are  in need of some weekend dinner wine and would like to have a sip or two before you go.  Also, Veritas has big screen TVs usually tuned to Sunday Cowboys’ games.

Jump for more holiday wine specials.I also received a list of some holiday take home wine specials that Veritas is offering for the upcoming holidays. And they are big.  The first list starts with big California reds and include a 96 point 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet from Buccella on sale for $120 and a 2006 Howell Mountain O’Shaghnessey Cabernet for $70. I love this wine, having had it one night at Veritas on recommendation.  Veritas’ knowledgeable gang usually leads a guest in the right direction if you describe what you like. This one is a keeper.  Parker gives the O’Shaghnessey 94 points.  Be sure to ask for the special email prices on your purchase.
