Aspiring Homebrewers, Come to to Central Market on Sunday

By Sarah Reiss |

Love beer and want to try your hand at brewing a batch yourself? It’s not as hard as you might think. Tomorrow’s (Sunday) Homebrewing Workshop from 2-5:30 at Central Market provides an excellent start-up primer while simultaneously giving already-practicing homebrewers an opportunity to ask questions and perfect their craft. As of right now there are 34 seats available; without more registrants the class may not fly, so call or visit Central Market Cooking School’s website to sign up before it’s too late. It’s only $10; what do you have to lose? (The term “workshop” indicates a hands-on component, but it’s unclear from Central Market’s description whether or not we’ll actually be doing any hands-on brewing. Regardless, I’ll be there to catch all the action.)

Stock-up tip: CM is also offering a great Brewtopia discount: 25% off $25 or more on beer and, I believe, beer-related items like homebrewing kits.
