So much for the summer slowdown. I just finished posting 45 transactions in D Real Estate Daily’s DealTicker. That’s about twice the number we post in a typical week. Combined, they add up to 691,428 square feet of space, plus nearly 35 acres of land.

The largest office lease was an 18,508-square-foot transaction for Matrix Telecom Inc., which took 18,508 square feet of office space at 433 E. Las Colinas Blvd. in Irving. JJ Williams with Transwestern represented the tenant in the deal.

The top industrial transaction was a 122,400-square-foot lease to John P. O’Neil Enterprises Inc. at 2828 Trade Center Drive in Carrollton. CBRE put that deal together, with Mike Cleary representing the tenant and Adam Hammack and Steve Trese representing the landlord.

Stacy Furniture had the largest retail lease this week, with a 43,250-square-foot transaction at Preston Parker Crossing in Plano. John Zikos and Chris Booras of Venture Commercial represented the tenant. Carter Butler and Maury Levy of UCR represented the land deal.

The biggest land deal was a 24.1-acre tract at 1025 Post and Paddock Road in Grand Prairie, sold to CIT Acquisition Corp. Kevin Santaularia and Michael Spain of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented the seller in the direct deal.

The lone medical transaction was a 11,956-square-foot lease to JPS Health Care Center at Mid Cities Health Care Center in Grand Prairie. Jim Sager with Transwestern represented the landlord.

All told, there were 12 industrial transactions totaling 410,581 square feet, 12 office deals totaling 80,687 square feet, and 15 retail leases adding up to 188,160 square feet of space.

D Real Estate Daily’s DealTicker is unlike any other transaction tracker in the market. It’s constantly being updated with leases, sales, and assignments from around the region, and can be filtered by submarket or sector. Be sure to send us your deals so we can include them, too.
