So Rick Perry Thinks He Can Dance?

Can he? Or is the former Texas governor going to get served worse than he was in his two failed presidential bids?

By announcing this morning that he will appear on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry told the world that he does, indeed, think he can dance.

But can he? Or is Perry going to get served worse than he was in his two failed presidential bids?

To try and answer that question, we took to the internet to see if Perry has a documented history of stepping up. Unlike other politicians with a calling for the dancefloor, there doesn’t appear to be much video evidence of Perry cutting rug.

We did find this:

And while that’s kind of fun, it only proves that Perry possesses the hand-eye coordination to go around a table without tripping over himself. Better than some, but is it enough to out-dance Vanilla Ice, Amber Rose, and Ryan Locthe?

We’re not optimistic about the governor’s chances. Perry has a poor track record of nationally televised performances, and there are no hipster glasses in existence that will fool people into thinking you are a competent dancer.
