Denton noise rock band, Bitch Teeth, had their most recent album featured on a music review site called Avalanche of Guts, and the record receives several paragraphs of generous praise. The blog was tipped off to the local act by a contributor to the site’s mixtape feature, MaryAnn Bayer, who also runs a radio show out of Saratoga, NY called The Bayer Clan. It’s nice to see one of the more interesting bands get a random bit of national attention.

Also in local music news, producer Picnictyme posted the single from his upcoming album, Sea Monsters, which is called “Lift Off.” The track also features Sam Lao. Lao’s smooth vocals are featured prominently. It’s a solid track and just enough to keep us continuing to anticipate the release of his upcoming album. Despite being one half of Booty Fade; the host of Thursday nights at The Basement; part of The Cannabinoids, and finally, an in-demand producer, he’s also one of the most humble industry vets in the game, without ever coming off as jaded.
