Ash Studios: A variety of musicians will be playing in this gallery tonight including Lone Wolf Club, Howler JR, and the Berkshire Hounds. The music is in addition to the video pieces of artists such as Christian Vasquez, and the ever-present Fred Villanueva will also have work on site.

The Dram: Ahead of his live set at House of Plates’ secret popup bodega this weekend, Ronnie Heart will have both a DJ set  and a performance with all of that “real music” everyone is so crazy about at 10:30 and 11:30 pm, respectively. For details on how you can see Heart for free, we possibly have a pair of tickets for you here.

Beauty Bar: Colly T will have his “Vibe” weekly this evening, as scheduled.

Crown and Harp: Too Fresh Productions will present its monthly checkup on the state of local hip hop with a blitz of 15-minute sets from the following performers, with approximate set-times included:

10:15pm – JKerr

10:30pm – Goald Mindz

10:45pm – Tru Def

11:00pm – Face

11:15pm – Wild Bill

11:30pm – Kaos Cain

Featured Acts

11:45pm – Jason Lyric

12:00am – Marcel P Black

Doors are at 9 pm, and the cost is five bucks.

Strauss Square: Longtime Rolling Stones collaborator Bobby Womack will be performing, but you know, that’s hardly worth mentioning at this point. The 70-year-old soul singer has aged far more gracefully than his admiring rock-and-rollers.

The Travis Basement: Deep drinks and DJ Sober are a classic Dallas combo, and especially on Thursday night.
