Best of Big D Giveaways: Pair of Tickets to Any Show in the Dallas Theater Center’s 2012-2013 Season

The Dallas Theater Center was the overwhelming reader’s choice pick for Best Theater in Dallas. We like them, too—after all, they were the editor’s choice last year. Whether you’ve already a fan or you’re eager to see what the fuss is about, we have a pair of tickets to give away to any one show you’d like to see over the course of the DTC’s regular 2012-2013 season. The only stipulations, other than no A Christmas Carol, are no opening nights and, of course, there have to be seats for you the night you want to attend. So keep that in mind (i.e. don’t call at 5 PM on a Friday night for a show that’s been selling out).

To enter this giveaway, you must 1) be in the position to swing by D Magazine Worldwide Headquarters to pick up your certificate within a week of winning and 2) hit the Wufoo form here. In the line that says “Item you are entering to win,” type “DTC Tickets.” I’ll pick a winner at 5 pm today. Good luck!

Choose from:

The Second City Does Dallas, the specially-commissioned, coming-soon season opener that features performers from Chicago’s The Second City touring troupe and DTC company member Liz Mikel.

The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, Kristoffer Diaz’s play, a 2010 Pulizer finalist, which promises to turn the Wyly into a wrestling ring

King Lear, written by some famous dead guy (a co-production with the Tony-winning Trinity Rep in Rhode Island)

Red, about painter Mark Rothko

The Dracula Cycle, by the Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa

Fly By Night, a rock musical from Kim Rosenstock, Will Connolly, and Michael Mitnick

Fly, a new musical by Rajiv Joseph, author of Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo
