For a few years now, Dallas’ La Reunion artists’ residency has existed as an outdoor gallery, but the organization is now “prepared to enter a second phase that will fulfill its mission: to create an on-site residency.”

Part of that preparation is that the organization has named a new executive director: Catherine Horsey. Via Pegasus News:

A veteran nonprofit manager, Horsey’s background includes real-estate development, green building policy development, sustainability education, and building rehabilitation. She was long-time executive director of Preservation Dallas and worked on planning for the residential development Urban Reserve and the Trinity River and Dogwood Canyon Audubon Centers. She has been a geologist and a master naturalist and has been recognized by Preservation Dallas and the U.S. Green Building Council for her work in the realm of sustainable building practice.
