 The Week/end That *Was*
The week following a three-day holiday weekend always seems to go by at a snail’s pace, doesn’t it? Sitting at your desk, staring at the clock, and counting down the minutes until the weekend, even if it is the normal, two-day variety. You can’t seem to muster up the motivation to return emails, and you’ve read enough celebrity gossip to make you blue in the face. Sound familiar? Well, lucky for us, we live in a city rich with weeknight action—happy hours, wine tastings, karaoke, and plenty of other peppy activities to help us through our work-week blues. So if the weekend seems too far away, go out and have fun before it gets here with some mid-week Nightlife outings. (And check out last weekend’s gallery pics, too.)

Mansion
If you haven’t been to the Mansion since the renovations, you’re in for a sweet surprise. On a recent visit, the bar was bustling with a crowd of all types: Young professionals, a group of gorgeous models (one of which I recognized as a recent cover model for D Beauty), a few mingling Cougars, and a ton of fans gathered around to watch the Hunter Sullivan band.
