The Week/end That *Was*


First, I would like to issue a preemptive apology to all the men who are reading this – unless you’re a huge SATC fan…(Sex and the City, that is. As you know, the movie hits theaters this weekend). We (fans) have been waiting to see if the girls get their “fairytale endings” since the last episode – which was, oooh, too many years ago (four to be exact). So, as a tribute to Carrie and crew, I shall honor them by making this a Sex in Our City weekend. And I will do just that by showcasing some fabulous places and events in Dallas.

Library Bar

Of course Carrie and the girls would go here because the Library Bar claims to have the “World’s Best Cosmo.” And, Thursday night just happens to be Ladies’ Cosmo Night.



 

H2 Thurs @ Nobu

Sexy ambiance, a live DJ, and a clientele with hefty checkbooks make this place fabulous enough for any SATC character.



 

Scotch Tasting at Victory Tavern

Like Samantha, if you’re on a man-hunt, what better place to find one (besides at a driving range or boat show) than at a Scotch tasting?

In honor of Sex and the City: The Movie, Steel is making sure no fan leaves without Carrie's drink of choice.

It’s not nice to stare. But how do you stop yourself from gawking at a Jason-Lewis-esque bartender? Well, it could have been the beer goggles, but there was a close resemblance. I think.
