D Magazine's weekly newsletter about Dallas after dark March 27

The Week/end That *Was*

Tan or no tan, it’s time to break out the tank tops and head to the nearest bustling patio. (Guys, I was referring to the ladies. Please leave your skimpy tees at home.) Spring is finally here—with a little wind and rain—but by this time, everyone’s so eager to get outside that it doesn’t matter if it’s a tad too chilly for your favorite flip-flops. So get out there, relax with a cool cocktail, and get some sun for goodness sake (weather permitting)! Sidenote: Also, be on the lookout for celebs this weekend as AFI kicks off tonight. And, take advantage of that after-party invitation if you were lucky enough to get one. (Yes, I'm jealous.) Check out the pics from last week.

Where to *be* this week/end

Friday

3/28

Urban Oasis at Hotel ZaZa

If you're in need of a mini-vacation, head to the Urban Oasis.

Saturday

3/29

Mi Cocina / Taco Diner Patios in West Village

Everyone in Uptown knows that these two patios are prime locations on a sunny afternoon.

Sunday

3/30

Primos

What draws a beautiful crowd to a tiny Mexican restaurant that overlooks nothing but a busy street and a concrete parking lot? It's called a margarita, my friends.

Monday

3/31

Ozona Grill & Bar

I’m not sure, but the patio at Ozona could actually be larger than the restaurant itself.

Tuesday

4/1

Taste

Although the patio is covered, this spot in the heart of Uptown still has much to offer.
