March 20 |

|
We’re not sure about your week, but so far, the only really great thing about ours is that Lent is finally almost over. We only broke it once. Okay, twice. But you can’t really blame us—it’s hard to resist a tiny chocolate cake served by a cuter-than-usual cater-waiter. Also on the horizon: March Madness. Honestly, we’re less excited about the basketball than the funny name we chose for our bracket (Face Time with Bret Michaels) and the three weeks of verbal sparring with the cute boys in the office. If you can tear yourself away from the sports bar long enough, there are a few things to do around town that you might enjoy. If you can’t, well, that says a little somethin’ about you, doesn’t it?

Easter Bunny at the Crescent - Mar 23
So, it’s Easter, and you could stain your fingers dying eggs on your countertop … or you could let the Crescent folks do it for you. We’re lazy, so we’ll take the latter. Did we mention brunch is involved? Exec chef Gianni Santin will be making omelettes, shrimp and lobster bisque, prime sirloin, and Easter cake, and the bunny himself (herself?) will make an appearance. Kids can search for eggs in the courtyard, rendering parents unable to ever have a successful backyard hunt ever again. Reservations required. It’s worth it, we swear. |

Theatre and Dance: Riverdance Through March 22
Yes, Riverdance. Maybe you’ve seen this show before, but guess what? This is supposedly the last time the show will tour. After this, the Riverdance will run dry. Unless they pull a Rolling Stones move. |

Friday
3/21 |
Happenings:Champagne Fridays at Grand Tastings
We just like the sound of Champagne Fridays. Our Fridays are usually more of the “drink-beers-as-fast-as-possible-to-bury-the-pain” variety, which is decidedly less fancy. |

Saturday
3/22 |
Museums and Galleries: Triple Vision at the Marty Walker Gallery
We love the Marty Walker Gallery, and this exhibition—which closes on Saturday—features three Texas artists who are making a huge impact on the art world. |

Sunday
3/23 |
Happenings: Easter Brunch at Dragonfly
Easter eggs at the Crescent, run across the street to Hotel ZaZa. Your $45 gets you quite a bit there: |
