Food: Trece Cooking Class at Sur la Table
In 2008, it’s already becoming clear that it’s going to take more than our standard “romantic night” dinner of Eatzi’s takeout to impress our future spouse. It’s going to take wit, intelligence, and a gourmet meal prepared by only us. We need major help. |

Kid Stuff: Goodnight Moon. (Thru 2/24)
The Dallas Children’s Theater’s production of “Goodnight Moon” actually sounds like a sweet show—a distinct change from a season spent lying about Santa Claus, reindeer, and how the new bike got under the tree in the first place (hint: It did not come down the chimney, and it certainly wasn’t free). |

Galas and Benefits: Hooch and Pooch 2008
Dogs are our best friends. Maybe this seems sad to you, but at least dogs don’t call up friends behind your back and talk about how fat you are. We also love alcohol, so combining the two at the annual Hooch & Pooch makes this one of our favorite nights. |

Music: Wyclef Jean
Ten years ago or so, Wyclef Jean’s “The Carnival” spent approximately three solid months in our car’s CD player. We loved “Guantanamera” (even though we couldn’t understand most of what was being said) “Apocalypse” (oui oui ya’ll) and especially, “Gone Till November.” |

Galas and Events: Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa Event, benefiting the Dallas Museum of Art League
When we moved back to town two years ago, the Stoneleigh was were we stayed for an entire week before moving into our apartment. There was no denying it needed a facelift. |
