Real Weddings: Le Ann Bunton & Charles Cox
A Valentine's Day proposal leads to a Texas Discovery Gardens ceremony.
After missing her for two years at the salon they both frequented, Charles Cox finally pinned Le Ann Bunton down with one great date. Although Le Ann had picked out her own ring and knew marriage was on the horizon, she was still stunned to wake up on Valentine’s Day to find white rose petals leading from her side of the bed.
The petals led to a large container of gifts—including a ring box. Le Ann refused to open the ring box alone, so she waited impatiently for Charles to return from work. When he did, she followed him around for hours anticipating his proposal. Finally, in front of her children, he asked for her hand.
They were married March 12, 2011, at Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park.
