Lauren Taylor has been planning her wedding as long as she can remember, and she finally found her Prince Charming in Brendon Roosken. The couple tied the knot on August 6, 2011, at Prestonwood Baptist Church. “I knew I wanted to have that dramatic entrance down the center aisle,” says Lauren. If the ceremony was about romance and drama, the reception at the Westin Stonebriar was about fun! “We’re a fun, upbeat couple,” says Lauren, so they went for it with their first dance—Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are the Best Thing.” They also surprised the father of the groom with their specialty drink, the Funky Monkey—a tasty mix of citrus vodka, OJ, Fresca, and lime created by the FOG in the ’70s. Cheers to the happy couple!
