Real Weddings: Brittany George and Josh Teare
A long wait for a first date works out for this fun couple.
Brittany George and Josh Teare met for the first time 11 years ago, and while each thought the other was cute, they were both unavailable. The two kept in touch through the years, and finally Josh asked Brittany out via Facebook (Brittany thinks this is hilarious. Josh, not quite as much.). It took her three months to respond, but she finally did and six months later they were engaged. “I feel bad about not responding,” she laughs, “but it worked out in the end.” The bride wanted an outdoor wedding for her June 4, 2011, nuptials, and Avanti was the perfect downtown Dallas location. As Brittany says, “It was a big, fun, ‘sparkly’ party with all our closest friends and family.”
