Though they met in Georgia, they knew they'd get hitched in Texas.
Though they met at the University of Georgia, where Brandon Coutu was a football player and Taylor Leon was a golfer, she knew she would one day wed in the Lone Star State. “His side was expecting a big Texas wedding,” says Taylor, who gave a nod to her roots by gifting the wedding party cowboy hats, having a Texas-themed rehearsal dinner, and surprising the groom with a pair of custom cowboy boots that matched her own. But don’t think the groom’s Georgia heritage was neglected. While slicing into his bulldog groom’s cake, his boys gave a raucous rendition of the UGA fight song: “All hail to dear old UGA!”
