Everyone knows that a day at the beach can leave you famished. So after you view the Coastlines exhibit, enjoy a delightful lunch at the cheery Atrium Cafe on the museum’s first floor. The Atrium Cafe has gone coastal this summer, offering several specials inspired by the exhibition including a Parmesan Crusted Tilapia Sandwich, Pink Shrimp Crepes, and a Coconut Shrimp Salad. Even better, visit the DMA for Thursday Night Live, which features jazz and $5 “Coast-tinis.” You’ll feel as revitalized and refreshed as if you had spent a day with your toes in the sand. And minus the sunburn! The Atrium is open daily for lunch and on Thursday evenings for dinner.
