Who is a good candidate for a breast lift (mastopexy)? 

You may be a good candidate for a breast lift if you are bothered by the feeling of saggy breasts, lost breast shape, and youthful volume. Breast lifts can aid with these issues, as well as helping with stretched skin and large areolas which may lie below the breast crease.

Can I combine a breast lift with a breast augmentation?

Yes, this is frequently done, with either saline or silicone breast implants. Not all patients are good candidates to have both a breast lift and breast augmentation done at the same time. Concerns for blood supply and wound healing may require the breast lift is performed first and a subsequent breast augmentation several months later.

Are all breast lifts the same?  

No, there are different types of breast lift incisions which need to be selected based on each patient’s individual needs. Crescent lifts are for breasts with minimal droop, donut breast lift or lollipop lift  for moderate droop, and more severe droop usually requires a full mastopexy. All breast lifts can be performed with or without breast implants.

Most breast lift patients are able to shower in 1-2 days and can resume light activity in a few days.

Are you board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery?  Will you perform my breast lift or breast augmentation in an accredited surgical facility?  How many of these surgeries have you performed? May I see breast  augmentation before and after photos from previous clients to see what results I can expect?
