Ari’s Wine Bistro
Sunday is the best day to go for all-day happy hour: wells are half-price, appetizers are $6, and Shiraz house wine by the glass is just $4. Plus, the people-watching from this second-story perch is primo.

This is your best bet to beat the Monday blues: check out New School Monday Nights for “insane drink specials," including $2 you-call-its. Thursday is Ladies Night, so all the girls get $3 martinis, wine, and flavored vodka from 7pm till close. Happy hour here is every day, 4-7pm, with half-price drinks and $4.95 flatbread pizza.

Cretia’s on McKinney
The McKinney Avenue hotspot has live music Tue-Sat, 10pm-2am, and Sun, 11am-3pm. During happy hour (Mon-Sat, 3-7pm), get $3 house wines, wells, and domestics, plus $4 imports. Great brunch specials, too: $3 Bloody Marys and $10 bottomless mimosas, poinsettias, Texas mimosas, sangrias, and sparkling rose.
