Easter at Lone Star Park
On Sunday, Lone Star Park should be re-named The Easter Extravaganza Your Child Has Been Dreaming About. There will be live appearances from the Easter Bunny and Dora the Explorer. Pony rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, face painting, and a prize-filled Easter egg await them, and for adults, there is jazz in the courtyard. Easter at the Dallas Arboretum
Friends, this is an even easier choice than setting your TiVo to record the entire season of Real Housewives of New Jersey. The Dallas Arboretum is at its most beautiful during the annual Dallas Blooms festival (over 450,000 spring bulbs!), and this Easter, it’s the perfect spot to show off the matching outfits you found for your offspring. Photographer James French will be there to take a professional family photo, or bring your own camera and cozy up to the Easter Bunny for free. Easter Egg Hunt at the Fort Worth Stockyards
We’ve seen your massive up-do and your larger-than-life SUV. We assume that if you’re going to hunt Easter eggs, you are going to go big, as well. Luckily, the Fort Worth Stock Exchange’s Texas Sized Egg Hunt will allow you to do this holiday right. Egg hunters will be divided into groups, and only kids 12 and under can participate (don’t forget your basket).
