03.09Dallas-born Bill J. Johnson, M.D., M.M.M., practiced internal medicine in Lubbock for 16 years before opening his Grapevine practice in 2002. A few years later, he added aesthetic medicine to his list of services, changed his practice name to Innovations Medspa, and began his journey into the spotlight, including a recurring role as medical expert on Good Morning Texas. Dr. Johnson was the first in the United States to offer Acoustic Wave Therapy for cellulite treatment, and since then he has remained on the leading edge of nonsurgical cosmetic procedures. You may have seen Johnson on Dr. Phil’s The Doctors in September 2008, when he performed a skin-tightening Thermage 16.0 treatment, reducing a woman’s abdominal area by nearly eight inches.
