Fresh Face of Frisco: FarmHouse Fresh
03.09TCU grad Shannon McLinden first made her mark in the fashion and beauty world in 2004 with Frisco-based Summer Soles—ultra-absorbent insoles designed specifically for open-toe shoes and sandals that cure the dreaded “squishy foot.” Two years later, McLinden and Co. launched FarmHouse Fresh, a line of lovingly made products with nostalgic packaging such as jelly jar toppers and glass cruets. The Fine Foot Scrub, made with the finest grain sea salt and rice bran oil, landed on Oprah’s O List, and we’ve gone gaga for the Powder Milk Bath in Nectar, made with soothing chicory root. While you can find FarmHouse Fresh in fine boutiques and resorts around the country, we’d like to hand it to Cooper Spa for being the first retailer in Dallas to carry these goodies.
