Real Weddings: Kara Torvik & Jeremiah Smith

Kara Torvik is an actress, but when she and Jeremiah Smith said “I do” on January 12, 2008, it was for real. The two dated almost a year and a half before Jeremiah proposed in a befitting spot: The Shakespeare Garden in New York’s Central Park. Their wedding was a spectacular event right out of an Old Hollywood movie. The T&P Rail Station, with its extravagant 1920s Zigzag Moderne architecture, was the perfect setting for a celebration that included movie stills and a 16-piece swing orchestra. It was most certainly an affair to remember.

A five-star affair can’t happen without a team of talented professionals. The information below was provided by the couples featured in Real Weddings.
