Thumbs up to the surprising Dallas Sidekicks soccer team for bringing Dallas its first national sports championship since the Cowboys won the Super Bowl in 1978. Coach Gordon Jago’s players earned our admiration with their thrilling seventh-game win over Tacoma. Let’s hope the city’s newfound enthusiasm for this truly international sport carries over to next season.
