This annual event is a great excuse to pull out that just-on-the-verge of gaudy Kentucky Derby hat from a few years back. Who knows, you might even win the reinstated hat contest. But first up is the champagne reception (beginning at 11, so don’t forget to book the driver), followed by a Jan Strimple-produced fashion show featuring clothes from Tory Burch, St. John, and Anne Fontaine, and a silent auction. Lunch will be served immediately following. Proceeds benefit the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. 11am–2pm.
